Deeper understanding of your core values and how they affect performance
Together, we’ll design a structured plan to support your goals, define your ideal outcome and empower the leader within you. We’ll work together to help you understand your core values, your unique strengths, and what gives you energy. We’ll also delve deeper into beliefs and patterns that might limit your growth today. By deepening your self awareness, you will build leadership skills that enhance your performance, improve your decision making, and help you pursue a more fulfilling career.
The Intro Form (5 minutes): I ask all of my potential clients to fill out a brief Intro Form so that I can understand a little more about you.
The Chemistry Call (15-20 minutes): Before we enter into an agreement, we’ll start with an initial Chemistry Fit call to make a mutual decision on partnering (there's no cost to you for this call!). Think of this as an informal introduction to each other.
The Discover & Design Call (60-90 minutes): If we decide to move forward, we’ll set time to design the partnership in a Discover & Design call where we define your career goals (the "what") and ideal outcomes (the "why"). We will lay out the schedule, the structure of the sessions, and discuss how to incorporate accountability. We may also cover frameworks, terminology, or exercises to determine if they will be useful in our sessions. Sessions will primarily be over video or phone calls, depending on your preference.
The Partnership Sessions (3-6 months): Most partnerships include six to twelve (1) hour long sessions, scheduled every other week. You'll come to each session with a topic and we'll spend time exploring how it impacts your ultimate goals. Before ending each session, you'll decide how you want to hold yourself accountable until the next one.
Ongoing Support (1 year): Regardless of how long our coaching sessions last, I'll be available for ad hoc support via text or email and for 1 follow up session to check in on progress for 1 year from partnership kick-off.
According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), "coaching is not the same thing as mentoring or therapy. A mentor provides subject matter expertise, wisdom, and guidance based on their own experiences. Therapy deals with healing pain, trauma, dysfunction or conflict of some kind, typically with the goal of resolving difficulties that impair an individual’s emotional health and psychological functioning.
By contrast, coaching focuses on facilitating individuals or groups to draw upon their own experiences and capabilities to set and reach their own objectives. The coach is the expert in the coaching process, but you are the expert on your life journey."
I have gained certification in mental health literacy for my practice, and I will be happy to help assess, refer or partner with your health and wellness team if beneficial.
It's really important to me to measure the effectiveness of my coaching practice, understand the outcomes, and continuously improve my approach. I ask my clients to fill out a brief assessment before we begin and again after we conclude our partnership to evaluate effectiveness. I may also ask you for feedback, especially about how I can make it a better experience for you and for future clients.
My intention is to publish the results as I gather enough data to draw conclusions.
As part of all Coaching Partnerships, I also schedule a follow up session 3-6 months after coaching concludes to check in on progress.
